We are pleased to announce that the CIVVIH Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium will take place in Kuldīga, Latvia, from September 10 to 15, 2025.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Municipality of Kuldīga and ICOMOS Latvia for hosting this event.
This meeting will be an opportunity to explore the theme of STRATEGIES FOR ENHANCING HISTORIC CITIES’ RESILIENCE TO DISASTERS, within the framework of the Icomos three-year plan 2024-2027.
The symposium is organized by the Central and Eastern Europe Sub-Committee of CIVVIH-ICOMOS.
At the bottom of the page you will find the following documents:

- The call for papers, including important dates:
- Abstract submission deadline: May 14,2025
- Notification of acceptance: June 11, 2025
- The registration form.
- Practical information about the bus travel between Riga and Kuldiga, along with the itinerary for the scheduled visits on Saturday, September 13.
For organizational reasons, could you please submit your registration form by June 27,2025.
We look forward to receiving your contributions, which will enrich the discussions on resilience in heritage management, addressing the preparation, response and recovery of cities and towns from disasters and conflicts.

Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer que la réunion annuelle et le symposium scientifique du CIVVIH se tiendront à Kuldīga, en Lettonie, du 10 au 15 septembre 2025.
Nous tenons à exprimer notre gratitude à la municipalité de Kuldīga et à ICOMOS Lettonie pour leur accueil lors de cet événement.
